The Full Process

Four steps. About 24 hours. Zero games.

Here's the whole thing at a glance. We'll break down each step in detail below — but this is the roadmap from your first click to funds in your account.

01

You Submit an Application

Fill out our short online form or call us directly. Takes about 3 minutes. We only ask for what we actually need to review your situation.

02

A Specialist Contacts You

Usually within the hour during business hours. They'll gather any details we need and coordinate directly with your attorney's office.

03

We Underwrite Your Case

Our team evaluates the strength and estimated value of your case, then decides how much we can advance. Most decisions happen within 24 hours.

04

You Get Funded

Sign the agreement and funds are wired directly to your bank account — often within 24 hours. Use the money for anything you need.

Step 1 · The Application

Start with the essentials. Nothing more.

Some funders make you fill out a mini-novel just to see if you qualify. We don't. Our online application asks for the minimum we need to route your request to the right specialist — your name, contact info, state, case type, and how much you're looking for.

Once you submit, one of our funding specialists reaches out — usually within the hour during business hours. They'll walk you through any additional questions and start coordinating with your attorney's office. You don't have to chase anyone down or do anything technical. We handle it.

  • No account to create, no password to remember
  • Your credit is never pulled during the application
  • All communication is with real humans, not chatbots
  • You can call instead of applying online — either works

Steps 2 Through 4

Under the hood: what happens after you apply.

This is where most funding companies stop being transparent. Here's exactly what our team does between your application and the moment funds land in your account.

Step Two

A specialist reviews your application and calls you

Every application is reviewed by a real person on our team, not an algorithm. Your assigned specialist reads through what you submitted, checks that we can operate in your state, and calls you to introduce themselves and gather anything else we need. They also request permission from you to contact your attorney directly, so you're not stuck playing middleman between us and your law firm.

Step Three

Our underwriters evaluate your case

Once we have the documents from your attorney — typically the complaint, incident report, medical summaries, and case value estimate — our underwriting team reviews them. They're looking at the strength of liability, the extent and documentation of injuries, and the reasonable settlement range for cases like yours. Most decisions come within 24 hours. If we can fund you, we'll tell you exactly how much we can advance and at what terms. If we can't, we'll tell you why.

Step Four

You sign, we wire, you get your money

If you accept our offer, we send you a written funding agreement. It includes the exact advance amount, the exact repayment amount at settlement, and any relevant terms — no fine print, no surprises. Once you and your attorney sign, we wire funds directly to your bank account. Most transfers land within 24 hours. Use the money for whatever you need — rent, medical bills, groceries, car payments. It's yours.

What we actually evaluate.

Underwriting is the part of the process most funders keep intentionally vague. We think you deserve to know what we're actually looking at when deciding whether — and how much — we can fund. Here are the four factors that matter most.

None of these are your credit score, your income, your employment history, or your personal financial background. We're evaluating your case, not you.

Repayment

How you pay us back — and what happens if you don't win.

This is the part clients worry about most, so let's be direct. When your case settles, your attorney handles our payoff directly from the settlement proceeds as part of the disbursement process. You don't write us a check. You don't wire us money. You don't get involved in the mechanics.

The payoff amount is set in writing at the time of funding — before you ever sign anything. It doesn't secretly balloon over time. There are no penalty fees for cases that take longer than expected. What you agree to at funding is what you pay at settlement. Period.

And if your case doesn't win — for any reason — you owe us nothing. That's not marketing language. That's the whole point of non-recourse funding. The risk lives with us.

  • Repayment handled by your attorney at settlement
  • Payoff amount fixed in writing at time of funding
  • No monthly payments, no interest accruing over time
  • Lose your case? You owe nothing — ever
Do You Qualify?

What we need to fund your case.

Most people who apply qualify for something. Here are the four things we generally need in place to move forward. If you're not sure whether you meet these, apply anyway — we'll tell you either way.

You Have an Attorney

You're represented by counsel on your case. This is required for pre-settlement funding — no exceptions.

Required
Your Case Is Pending

You have a valid claim that's been filed or is in active pre-litigation with your attorney's office.

Required
Documented Injuries or Damages

Medical records, treatment history, or other evidence documenting the injuries and damages from the incident.

Required
Fundable Case Type

Your case type is one we underwrite — most personal injury case types qualify. Not sure about yours? Call us.

How long does the whole process take?
From application to funded, most cases complete in about 24 to 48 hours once we have the documents we need from your attorney. Simple cases with clear liability and complete records can move faster — sometimes same-day. More complex cases (medical malpractice, mass tort) may take a few days longer depending on the underwriting review required.
What if my attorney has never worked with a funder before?
No problem. Our team handles the coordination directly. We reach out to your attorney's office, explain how we operate, and walk them through the paperwork. Most attorneys are familiar with pre-settlement funding, and the ones who aren't are usually surprised by how simple our process is compared to what they expected.
Do you send someone to collect documents from me?
No. Everything is handled electronically. Documents are shared between our team and your attorney's office through secure digital channels. You never have to fax anything, mail anything, or hand-carry paperwork.
Is there a way to check my application status?
Yes. Your assigned specialist is your point of contact throughout the process — you can call or email them directly at any time. If you need to reach us outside business hours, send a message through our contact form and we'll get back to you the same business day.
What if I need money for something specific — like surgery?
Once funded, you decide what to do with the money. Pay for surgery, cover rent, buy groceries, keep the lights on — there are no restrictions. You don't need to justify how you're spending it or provide receipts.
Can I apply for more funding later on the same case?
Sometimes, yes. If your case's estimated value supports additional funding and your circumstances warrant it, we can consider a subsequent advance. Each new request is underwritten independently, and total funding is always capped to preserve a meaningful net recovery for you at settlement.
What if my case settles for less than expected?
Our payoff amount is fixed at time of funding, but our team also considers the reasonable settlement range during underwriting. In the rare situation where a settlement comes in dramatically below what we anticipated, our team works with your attorney to reach a fair resolution. What we won't do is take every dollar of your settlement — that's not how we operate.
What if I change my mind after signing?
Depending on your state, you may have a legally mandated rescission period after signing — a window in which you can cancel with no obligation. Our specialist will walk you through your state's specific rules before you sign anything.
